When I was learning tango, I often found myself thinking about how to prepare for a move and where to go from there. As an enthusiast for the graphic representations, for my own use I produced diagrams to aid my memory. They are not meant to be comprehensive, and sometimes don’t include precursor moves. Some moves are omitted because they were too difficult to diagram meaningfully. It’s necessary to understand two aspects of the diagrams:
- Compact Tango Notation is the text description of moves.
- Flow Diagram Guide is a description of the boxes and connectors.
